The awards season has drawn to a close with the royalty of all awards shows, The 2011 Academy Awards. I am most proud of Natalie Portman for taking home the Oscar for her spectacular, stellar performance in Black Swan (did anyone really think she wouldn't win?!?). She looked breathtaking up there accepting her award. I was also proud of Christian Bale for his Oscar win for Best Supporting Actor for The Fighter. These are truly well deserving individuals who give their heart and soul to the art of acting.
Of course, I had to sit and watch the red carpet ceremony because I have to see first hand all the lovely designer gowns in order to select my list of best dressed. I think I may enjoy that better than watching the show! LOL

I think i'm one of the few people who didn't care for Reese's hair or dress, it just seems so done and that dress looks like i've seen it 100 times before.
ReplyDeleteOh my goodness, I totally agree! Halle Berry looked divine in the Marchesa! That's my number one favorite of the night. The Elie Saab is gorgeous too and of course Jennifer Hudson looked smashing in her gown AND her new shape. I think Reese Witherspoon looks so much like a Barbie Doll with her hair like that!
